custom painted crankbaitsWelcome back! It's been a while since I've updated my site. For those of you that don't know me, I "hand poured" soft plastics for many years. After being informed that I have Emphysema, I poured my last bait in February of 2010.  I am now awaiting approval for a lung transplant. Long story short.............I bought an airbrush a year ago and found out I can paint! With all that is going on today.....a wife in college, a boy and a girl ages 3 and 4......I am no longer taking orders. I paint and post. What I mean by that is, I paint almost daily and throw them up on e-bay. I really do appreciate all the requests for custom paints, but that is a thing of the past. It just doesn't work for me anymore.  Below are some recent custom painted crankbaits. These are the model crankbaits I paint on a regular basis.  I paint crankbaits and post almost daily at around 10pm EST. 152nd Custom Painted Cranks

You really have to check out
my friend Bruce over at Bruce's Tackle Box
His stuff is just incredible!

The bait to the right is a custom True Image
foil/painted 6 inch wood glide bait in a
largemouth pattern.

The bait is a slow to medium sinking
lure with erratic action and great belly flash.
It works best when used like a jerk bait
with light twitches of your rod tip.

This lure is part of Bruce's "Reality Check" series.

Here are three True Image Trout Glides....
...also part of the "Reality Check" series
...near completion!

Romeo of Dichoso Baits has taken custom hand poured soft plastics to a new level. Trust me when I tell you this.Combining the "art form" of hand pouring with the "new to the scene" hand injection to create a truly unique bait.
His custom colors and attention to detail is unsurpassed!

These are just a few of my personal favorites.
