I really didn't want to jump the gun and decided to temporarily shut down my shop. Well........after much deliberation, I have decided (as well as my doctor and family) to stop pouring soft plastic baits. My lungs cannot take the fumes produced by pouring as I have Emphysema.
Could I continue to pour if I set up an elaborate ventilation system and wear a full respirator? Maybe, but that's not for me.
I have finished converting my shop (cleaning the mess I've made) from hand pouring soft plastics to my new venture.............jigs of all types, spinner baits, buzz baits, chatter type baits, etc.
If I can't pour plastics, I certainly can't pour lead, so..........
...............I am working with one of the premier lead pourers in the country who will be providing me with unfinished poured jigs. I will be doing the multi-colored powder coating and hand tying of the skirts and applying the necessary hardware. I will be using the finest materials and components available that will produce baits that will hopefully second to none.
As you have seen by the products you have purchased from me, that I take great pride in my work.
I do want to thank everyone who have supported me with my business and appreciate and welcome input anyone my have.
As soon as I've built up sufficient inventory, I will send out another newsletter. If you are not already a subscriber, just add your e-mail address at the bottom of this page.
With that being said, I would like to confidently recommend my good friend Romeo Dichoso for your soft plastic needs. Romeo has acquired most of my molds and has many of his own to offer you one of the largest variety of hand made soft plastics found anywhere! Romeo offers Sticks, Tricks, Kodiaks and Flappin' Craws in a variety of sizes to meet your individual needs. He also has several different swim baits, swim shad and one of my favorites, that big, beefy U-tail pictured below. or a few new ones like these
